Handkerchiefs, silk scarves and more are created with great love with designs inspired by the marine world, marine sciences and issues such as climate change. Crùbag shows those secrets and beauty hidden beneath the deep oceans with the aid of images taken with the microscope or illustrations in beautiful accessories made with materials produced with sustainable methods and friendly to the environment. Each product comes with information material communicating the science and inspiration behind our designs and collections.
Founded by the Venezuelan Jessica Giannotti Gonzalo in Scotland, Crùbag is dedicated to the creation of accessories stamped in natural fabrics such as silk, linen and cotton.
Crùbag launched the R.A.E. Collection Collection Red & Turquoise and collection R.A.E. Homeward Bound in collaboration with PhD. Raeanne Miller, an ecologist and industrial impact researcher at the Scottish Association of Marine Sciences (SAMS), and participant in the first edition of Homeward Bound. Part of the earnings of these two collections will be donated to the fundraising campaign for my participation in Homeward Bound. More information here.
