About me
I am a marine ecologist with research experience in 4 countries (Venezuela, Australia, United Kingdom and Palau). My research is focused on the impacts of climate change on coral reef ecosystems, with special emphasis on corals and their reproductive biology.
I am a Research Associate at the Coralassist Lab based at Newcastle University (United Kingdom) specifically investigating the feasibility of using assisted gene flow as a tool to restore coral reefs.
In addition to my hands-on laboratory and field experience, in 2017 I was selected to participate in Homeward Bound, a one year long leadership program for women with a science background to learn the skills to influence policy and decision makers about climate change.
